In addition to Glee being nominated for a whopping 13 Teen Choice Awards, Cory Montieth, Mark Salling, Chris Colfer, and Kevin McHale have been invited to co-host the award show itself! They’ll be chilling onstage next to Katy Perry, who is also co-hosting the event.

Also on the itinerary are Eclipse stars Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene, as well as Zac Efron, Jane Lynch, Leighton Meester, Channing Tatum, Zachary Levi, Ellen DeGeneres, Sandra Bullock, Jim Parsons, Miranda Cosgrove, and Kristin Bell, to name a few. There will be performances from Jason Derulo, Katy Perry, and Travis McCoy. The TCAs will air on Monday, August 9 at 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.

Glee will once again be attending the San Diego Comic-Con! Since last year’s panel, Glee has exploded into an international phenomenon, winning at the Golden Globes, SAG awards, and People’s Choice Awards, just to name a few. The fanbase has exploded, twitter accounts gaining thousands of followers, and the actors have become household names. Some people questioned why Glee first came to the five-day long convention, but their return to Comic-Con was all but imminent. This year, the panel will feature actors that were absent from last year’s.

So, there’s good news and bad news. The good: Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, and Naya Rivera will be attending the panel and answering fan questions, alongside Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy. The bad: Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith will be MIA. Jane Lynch will be absent as well; apparently she had a scheduling conflict.

Now, before you take drastic measures: “Last year, we brought down Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, and Dianna Agron. Because we have such a large cast and we can’t bring everyone every year, this year we decided to bring down some of the cast who didn’t get to go last summer,” A Fox spokesperson tells Entertainment Weekly.

Makes sense, right? To quote Sue Sylvester: “We’re giving everyone a chance to be a star! Find your voice, stomp that yard, all that crap!”

On Glee, Mark Salling plays a high school badass who refers to the glee club as “homo explosion” (and then can’t help but join in on the geeked-out fun). This wasn’t exactly the kind of music Salling expected to make when he moved from Dallas to Hollywood eight years ago with his acoustic guitar strapped to his back, searching for a record deal. When asked if he’ll get to perform any of his original tunes when the Glee kids go on tour this summer—they’re playing sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, among other venues—he says, laughing, “I think Fox would probably shit a brick over that.”

Mark Salling (@mark_salling) and Kevin Mchale (@druidDUDE) have been tweeting from Cory Monteith’s homeland recently. Meaning, they trekked up to Vancouver to watch the Winter Olympics! Mark even got a snazzy HBC jacket like Cory’s.

They talked about their favorite songs, what it was like singing at the World Series, and even showed a sneak peak clip of Kevin singing “Dancing with Myself”. Warning: Relationship spoiler ;)

Mark Salling has recently updated his website, and it now has a cool “Media” page. It contains his music videos, some are Glee related, some aren’t. My favorite was his homage to the cast and crew of Glee! His music is really good and it’s fun to get a peak at some of the cast and crew members behind the scenes.

This is a very interesting article where Mark Salling, who plays Puck on Glee, talks about how hard it was to make it in LA and finally get on a TV show like Glee.

Mark Salling had almost given up on LA.

The 27-year-old musician and songwriter, who grew up in Lake Highlands, had been struggling for a showbiz break for seven years, teaching guitar lessons and doing local gigs to get by. But his career was stagnant.

“I was planning on moving back to maybe Austin and trying my luck there,” he says. But first, he’d try one more thing.
