Get ready, Gleeks! Fox has just announced that on September 14, they will release Glee: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray and DVD, featuring all 22 one-hour episodes of the show’s freshman season. The box set, Blu-ray and DVD, is fully loaded with exclusive bonus materials and extended episodes, a sing-along karaoke, a behind-the-scenes look at “The Power of Madonna” episode, Glee Makeovers, never-before-seen “Sue’s Corners” and a dance tutorial titled “Staying in Step with Glee.”

Glee: The Complete First Season will be available in a four-disc Blu-ray set for $69.99 U.S/$89.99 Canada and seven-disc DVD set for $59.98 U.S./$69.98 Canada. In addition, Gleeks who purchased Glee: Volume One: Road To Sectionals (the 1st 13 episodes) last winter can receive a special $10.00 “Gleebate” by simply completing a Mail-in Certificate and submitting it with proof of purchase for both titles. Ryan Murphy talks about the exciting DVD release:

“The show started out as a comedy musical about the underdog in all of us and has blossomed, largely due to the incredible support and passion from the fans that have embraced the show,” says Murphy. “When we developed the Blu-ray and DVD, we wanted to give those fans something special because they’ve been so great to us. There’s everything from a sing-along karaoke, to a behind-the-scenes look at our Madonna episode, to a dance lesson from our amazing choreographers.
