Today is our very first Flashback Friday! From now on, every Friday (at least, that’s our plan), we will be bringing you a Glee-related blast from the past. It could be an old (but still awesome) Glee video/article that you may have missed. Or maybe, as is the case with today, it will be something related to a Glee cast member’s work before Glee.
For today, we’re bringing you a commercial that Cory Monteith made for Western Canada Lottery’s lotto game EXTRA. “With more than 8 million EXTRA winners in the west every year, that’s a whole lot of cheering.” At least now we know what Finn would look like in a Cheerios uniform!
Cory Monteith was spotted by a Gleek at the HBC Lounge in Canada, just in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver! If you ever spot a Glee cast member, send us your picture at Rob@GleeFan.com, along with your name and where you live (optional) so that we can give you credit. :)
The latest Glee buzz is that Cory Monteith is going out with none other than music superstar (and Grammy winner) Taylor Swift. Keep in mind, this hasn’t been confirmed by anyone, so we’re keeping it in the rumor mill for now.
Earlier, on January 29th, the two were spotted having a ‘diner date’ at Jerry’s Deli. Now they’ve been photographed together again, this time at a pre-Grammy party hosted by Clive Davis, as shown here.
Some blogs have pointed out that they started following each other on Twitter at about the same time, but that doesn’t exactly scream suspicious to me… Then again, Taylor Swift is single (adiós, Taylor Lautner) as is Cory Monteith, which he had to point out numerous times when fending off rumors of an off-screen relationship between him and co-star Lea Michele. Other than a bit of an age gap (Taylor being 20 and Cory being 27), they could make a pretty cute couple!
What do you think about the latest rumored pairing? More importantly, which sounds beter… Tory or Caylor? My personal favorite is Cortay. xD
Update:The Gossip Cop is reporting that the two “have been on a few dates.” But is it anything serious? Also, Taylor Swift told E!, “I’m really loving Glee right now… If it did happen, I’d love to see what they would do with me.” I don’t know about you, but I think that Ryan Murphy would be able to come up with some way to creatively work Taylor into the show for an episode or two. It certainly would bring in the viewers!
What’s a day in the life like for Glee star Cory Monteith? Young Hollywood caught up with the breakout star for a tour of his sweet pad, complete with a bar, a man cave and a 1970s-style kitchen. Monteith shows off his silly side in his backyard as he BBQs some chicken and teaches us the ABCs of grilling. Plus, the 27-year-old gives us a demo on what one of his full-on workouts entails.
Cory Monteith sat down with Q TV’s Jian Ghomeshi while back home in Canada. They talked about how Cory’s odd jobs before becoming an actor helped him adapt quickly, what it’s like to be a Candaian actor in a show as distinctly American as Glee is and much more!
It’s really nice quality, so you can watch it in HD on full screen! :)
The Glee cast recently visited ‘Extra‘ and here’s a video of an interview with Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer.
Rumors have been circulating that Monteith has been cozying up to Lea Michele, who plays Glee club star Rachel Berry — but the actor is remaining mum on the nature of their relationship.
“What rumors?” Cory says when asked about the romance whispers. “It’s incredible — as soon as people get on television, rumors pop up.” When pressed about being single, Monteith turned and asked McHale, “Are you single?” McHale responded, “I’m single if you’re single.”
Cory Monteith went on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien on November 6th. They talked about auditioning, crazy fans and Cory’s odd jobs before Glee. If you want to see the hilarious TMZ video Cory’s talking about, check out our post here.

If you live outside of the USA and the videos won’t work for you, then you can watch it here.
Cory Monteith was on Chelsea Lately last night (October 13th) and I have embedded video of the interview! It’s very hilarious and Cory talks about a few things like being an “illegal alien” and what is was like to be at the HRC dinner in DC.
Cory Monteith stopped by Access Hollywood and did a funny video interview with Laura Saltman (Dish of Salt). She decided to quiz him and see how well he can answer trivia questions about the other cast members of Glee.
So how well does Cory know his co-stars? Take a look…
Hilarious video of Cory Montieth Chris Klein and a not-so-smart ‘fan’.
I think this might be recent since that looks a lot like the Dulles airport to me and the cast is currently in DC to attend the Human Rights Campaign dinner. What do you think?
Fun fact: Cory’s character in Glee has often been compared to Chris Klein’s character in the movie Election. :)
One of our parter sites, Buddy TV, had the chance to interview Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch. Check out the article links and interview videos below:
Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Amber Riley stopped by the Elvis Duran Show on z100 while they were in NYC. The radio show hosts asked them questions about fame, took some calls from fans and even gave Amber her first donut from Dunkin’ Donuts. :)

Recently, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele stopped by The View to promote Glee. Here’s a short clip from ABC, and a video of the full appearance is posted after the jump. ["Read the rest..."]
Also, here’s a clip from at day’s ViewTube featuring a behind the scenes look with Cory and Lea backstage.
Australian website TV FIX had the chance to talk to Lea Michele and Cory Monteith when they were on their promotional tour in Australia. Here’s an excerpt from their spoiler filled article.
Lea and Cory dropped some tasty tidbits about future episodes, revealing that the aforementioned romantic tension between Rachel and Finn will be complicated by the presence of his cheerleader girlfriend Quinn (Dianna Agron), and that fans of the show can start looking forward to some big musical numbers.
“There’s ‘Somebody to Love’ by Queen,” reveals Lea. “And Cory and I do ‘Smile’ by Lily Allen which is really cute. We also a Rolling Stones number. We do a lot of mash-ups, when you take to songs and mash them together — in one episode the boys do a mash-up and the girls do a mash-up, and that’s really cool.”
They’re especially looking forward to the 13th episode, which caps off the first half of season one.
“The glee club will be competing in sectionals [a sort of semifinal],” Lea says. “And we do a really great number — I’m not allowed to say what it is. But there’s some Barbara Streisand in the episode. There’s some kissing, there’s some fighting. There’s some crying.”
“And some cats come out of the bag,” hints Cory. “Two big cats.”
