Chris Colfer recently did a photo shoot and short interview with h Magazine. The article focuses on Chris Colfer’s (as well as Kurt Hummel’s) sense of fashion. Make sure you check out all the images from their awesome photoshoot. Here’s an excerpt from the article:
Chris Colfer doesn’t want to disappoint his fans but unlike the lovable and fashionably adventurous character Kurt he plays on Fox’s hit show Glee, he won’t be caught parading around town in a translucent Dolce and Gabbana raincoat. It’s way more likely you’ll spot him shopping at the Beverly Center, enjoying some of his favorite stores. “I don’t have a lot of preference when it comes to designers but I love Banana Republic, Express, and Ben Sherman.” Chris insists that Kurt’s wardrobe definitely helps him get into the role. “Kurt’s clothes are 25 to 30 percent of his character. I’m much more of a T-shirt and jeans kind of guy but I try to keep my fashion a notch above casual…”
Chris Colfer went on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien on December 1st. They talked about Chris’s High School experience as the president, and only member, of the Writer’s Club and his Omen-like ability to ‘accidentally’ kill people. The whole thing is hilarious, so check it out!
After reading through hundreds and hundreds of questions that were sent in, Tinkers and I were able to pick 10 questions to send to Chris Colfer! I hope you enjoy the Q&A, and hopefully we can have more in the future. The entire Q&A is posted after the jump. Feel free to comment about it below!
A big thanks to Chris Colfer for being kind enough to answer our questions so quickly! :)
Q: “If the Glee cast were to ever go on an international tour, which country would you most like to visit? :D”
– Ayesha
A: How could I only pick one? England, France, and Black Forest Germany. I’d also like to go skiing on the Matterhorn in Switzerland and eat my weight in pasta in Italy. Knowing me I’d probably sneak over to Austria and find the Sound of Music filming locations.
Q: “Do you think it will feel different when you go back to filming? Will you be more nervous filming now that Glee has been so wildly successful? Is there more pressure?”
– Rose
A: Yikes, now that you mention it, there might be! We filmed the first 13 just hoping it’d be successful and hoping there would be lots of fans. I think now that we’ve found success and have seen how much the show is loved by you guys it’ll feel like what we’re doing has more purpose to it. (Insert “Purpose” from Avenue Q)
Q: “I bet it was hard, performing in a wheelchair for the majority of the episode [Wheels]! What was that like? Were you nervous about the fan reactions–especially the ones from those bound to a wheelchair themselves?”
– Jennifer
A: We all had major biceps by the time that fiasco was over! We managed to learn it in two days and film it in one! (No idea how we pulled that off!) That episode dealt with a lot of sensitive issues that I think were handled beautifully. Thankfully the feeling has been mutual with all the groups it related too. Read the rest of this entry »
The Glee cast recently visited ‘Extra‘ and here’s a video of an interview with Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale and Chris Colfer.
Rumors have been circulating that Monteith has been cozying up to Lea Michele, who plays Glee club star Rachel Berry — but the actor is remaining mum on the nature of their relationship.
“What rumors?” Cory says when asked about the romance whispers. “It’s incredible — as soon as people get on television, rumors pop up.” When pressed about being single, Monteith turned and asked McHale, “Are you single?” McHale responded, “I’m single if you’re single.”
Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel, will soon be answering some questions from GleeFan.com readers!
We will be doing a Q&A with him in the same format of the ones which we have done with Jenna Ushkowitz and Amber Riley. I will select about 10 questions, so please have your questions submitted by 11:59pm EST on Thursday night, November 19th.
You may either leave your questions here as a comment, or email them to me directly at Rob@GleeFan.com with the subject “Chris Colfer Fan Question(s)”. Remember to include your real name and optionally your country since we will include them with the questions. Also, use your real email because I will be sending out an email to the people whose questions were selected.
Try to make your questions original, use proper grammar, and don’t worry about sending in a stupid question. There are no stupid questions… but if it is stupid, I just wont select it. ;)
Good luck!
Update: We are officially done taking questions. I’ll be selecting the best ones and sending them to him soon. Look forward to the Q&A! :)
The last time Chris Colfer was on The Bonnie Hunt Show (here) was back at the beginning of September and the whole cast was with him.
Today, he appeared by himself and got to talk about his experiences with high school drama productions and how his life has changed because of Glee’s wild popularity.
One of our parter sites, Buddy TV, had the chance to interview Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch. Check out the article links and interview videos below:
