Glee Summer Concert Tour!

The cities, venues, and dates for the much awaited Glee concert tour have finally been revealed! They were supposed to be announced at the end of January, but better late than never! ;)
Unfortunately, they are only going to 4 different cities. Also, the tour is taking place in May, when some of the younger Gleeks will still be in school. I wish that they were going to more cities, but seeing as this is their first concert tour, they probably need to see how well it goes before they plan a giant tour. If it’s extremely successful, who knows! Maybe we’ll be getting another tour when Season 2 is airing that will stop in more cities. One can only hope! :)
Here are the details that have been announced:
May 18 – Dodge Theater, Phoenix
May 20 – Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles
May 21 – Gibson Amphitheatre, Los Angeles
May 25 – Rosemont Theater, Chicago
May 26 – Rosemont Theater, Chicago
May 28 – Radio City Music Hall, New York
May 29 – Radio City Music Hall, New York
Matthew Morrison said in the past that he “likes his summer vacations” and probably wont be on the tour. Why? He might make use of the downtime and start recording his own solo album. Also, it has been reported (by EW.com) that Jane Lynch will not be attending the tour either. Hopefully, we will still be able to see all of the glee kids performing!
You can buy your tickets online at Ticketmaster.com, but as of now, only some of the dates appear. Ticket sales will officially start on March 12 for the Phoenix performance, and the tickets for the rest of the stops will go on sale the following day.
EDIT: A new tour date as been added! The Glee cast will also be performing at 3:00 PM at Radio City Music Hall. Perhaps because all the other tickets sold out the presale? xP Remember to grab some!

They best come to Indiana!! The Vocal Adrenaline’s school is based off a school here so they better come!!
Also, it doesn’t make much sense to me that they would not be done filming until June? If the rest of the season starts back in April, and is only 9 episodes, then, in theory, season 1′s final would be the end of may/ first week of june. And then wouldn’t production on Season 2 need to begin sometime in August since I assume it would start the begnning of September? idk…that’s just me.
So glad Minneapolis is confirmed! I will totally be at that… maybe a few others. We will see.
I agree with Shane. They’re filming nine episodes, and are in the midst of two of them now. They should be done by April. And Fox WILL want them on the Fall sched so season two should be filming July or August.
They need to come to canada, i can fly anywhere in canada to see them! just as long as they come here :D

I live in Long Island, NY and soooo excited i can get to Manhattan easily!!! scorreeee!!! I’m definitely seeing the concert! without a doubt!
I hope they go a little further north and come to Seattle. If not, I’ll be willing to go down to Portland… only a three hour drive. $30-50?! That’s it? YES!! I was ready to shell out $150.

They will be in L.A. That’s all I need. I will pay whatever I have to. I want those front row seats though!

In every sport that we like, we do have our own desired players and beloved teams that we prove so much. We examine all their sport and cheer them on when they get a tally. We also tend to shout motivational cheers when they play awfully. We even buy posters, auburn mugs, t-shirts, jerseys and other stuffs containing the players names and the name of the bunch that we dearest so much. This is how most of the sports fans espousal their well-loved sports icons and teams.
Does anybody think they’ll go internationally? Like Australia and New Zealand? This will be my missed birthday and Christmas presents if they do :[
Please keep in mind that this tour is in the baby stages, and cities can be added at any time! Also, in extreme cases, cities can be dropped to make room for more “demographically fitting” cities or to facilitate filming, etc.
Can’t they go on a worldwide tour? And include Asia, say Manila? I can die if I see them here :D

the code is for Amex users only, even if you had the code you still had to use a AMEX to purchase. If you are a amex holder call them and get the code for the presale.

I was on line at 8:59 and clicked ticketmaster every 10 sec. At 9:00am exactly it came on line and there WERE NO TICKETS LEFT AT ANY PRICE! However, all the online ticket scam places had the tickets available for more than twice the price. It is a scam.
Sorry – in case I was not clear. This was the Radio City Music Hall shows that were supposed to go on sale to the general public for the first time this morning 3/13 at 9:00 am
FYI…the Chicago (Rosemont) tour was sold out before the general public was allowed to buy tickets. Now you have to pay more than twice the price (over $100 for the worst seats) from scalpers. I am very sad and upset. If tickets go on sale near you, I suggest getting or finding someone with an AMEX card (for pre-sale tickets), or else you will have the same problem! Good luck! We are sadly, not going now.
You can’t get tickets. Ticketmaster gave all the tickets to the tickets to the online ticket sites that sell for quadruple the price. It is a scam for sure. I’ve been trying for any show, any tickets, the second they go on sale and they are all sold out. Thousands are available through ticketscub and the like for a mint. I’m surprised no one is doing anything about it.
Well considering the show IS based off of an OHIO high school, I’m pretty sure they should come there…

Buildings are expensive and not every person is able to buy it. However, business loans was invented to aid people in such kind of situations.
Why in the world would they not come to the state the show is supposed to be based out of?
