This March’s issue of ELLE Magazine will feature a glammed-up Glee cast, made over by the magazine’s Creative Director, Joe Zee! Check out this excerpt from the Access Hollywood article:
“Glee’s” resident starlet Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) was voted “Most Likely To Stick With The Bare Necessities,” and sports a sexy and skimpy nude-colored ensemble paired with nude heels in the spread.
Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) – “Glee’s” heartthrob – nabs the “Most Likely To Succeed Without Really Trying” honor and is styled as “chic rebellion” with a mix of preppy gear and a leather biker jacket.
Check out all the pictures & video below, and click here for the full article.
As you probably already know, cast members of Glee love to fool around behind the scenes – as demonstrated pretty well by Cory’s twitvids. Check them out. :) Someone around the Paramount Lot happened to witness this tomfoolery and snapped a few candid pics for our enjoyment! :) A few of these are may contain spoilers, so be warned:
Lea presented the award for “Best Female Pop Vocal” at the 52nd Annual Grammy awards tonight! Here are some pics and videos of her on the red carpet, in E!’s 360 Glam Cam, and lastly, presenting! Or, you can download them all in HD. :)
According to Lea Michele and several other sources (including @UltimateGleeks), Idina Menzel is hard at work on the set of Glee as we speak!
It’s been officially confirmed that Idina is playing the coach of Vocal Adrenaline. She will be appearing early in the back nine and reprising her role for the season finale.
Rumors were rampant of what part she was to play, specifically rumors of her playing Rachel’s biological mother, for obvious reasons. There is an eerie resemblance between the two, and creator Ryan Murphy has taken note. But, as reported by Ausiello, it’s doubtful her character will turn out to be Rachel’s biological mother.
Another source claims that Idina and Matthew Morrison, who play the coaches of Vocal Adrenaline and New Directions respectively, will even have a make-out scene! I dunno, crazy enough to believe?! You decide.
I think you all will be as ecstatic as I am to learn that Lea Michele and Kristin Chenoweth, who’s already spent some time over in Oz originating the role of Galinda in the Broadway blockbuster “Wicked” (but I’m sure you already knew that), will be reuniting on the big screen come 2011! The two will star in an animated feature film called ”Dorothy of Oz” in which Dorothy, voiced by Lea Michele, is said to return to the land of Oz in a whole new set of adventures. Kristin Chenoweth will be lending her voice, not to Glinda, but to a new character called the China Doll Princess.
Rumors of other characters are rampant as well – the Scarecrow is said to be voiced by Dan Aykroyd (of SNL, The Blues Brothers, and Ghostbusters fame), the Tin Man by Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Fraiser, The Simpsons) , and the Cowardly Lion by James Belushi (According to Jim). She returns to find her old friends missing in action, only to make some magical new ones — including a man made entirely of Mashmallows and Kristin’s China Doll Princess, described as a woman who uses bossiness to cover her fragility. They team up to bring down Oz’s newest villain, a Jester (voiced by Martin Short) who thinks all of Oz should be under his control.
The Dorothy of Oz website lists Disney animation vet Daniel St. Pierre as the film’s director, with songs written by country singer/songwriter Tift Merritt and lyricist Mike Himelstein and a score by Jim Dooley, who worked on Chenoweth’s former TV show Pushing Daisies.

Fox Broadcasting just released some videos about the casting of Glee on their YouTube channel. They really had their work cut out for them trying to find these triple threats. The 1st video is about the casting in general, while the videos after the break are about casting for the characters of “Rachel”, “Finn”, “Will”, “Artie”, “Kurt”, “Quinn” and “Tina”. Enjoy!
Lea Michele, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Chris Colfer stopped by the Yahoo! studio to talk about “Glee’s impact on music, television, and kids today.”
Also check out this Yahoo! Music article about the possibility of Adam Lambert being on Glee, complete with a video outtake of Mark and Lea from the interview.
The cast of Glee was on the Tyra Show today! They met a few of their fans who are choir/theater kids in real life. They also played a game called “Glee-crets” where they tried to guess each other’s secrets and there was a glee-off between two real high school glee clubs!
A few real life high school “gleeks” got the surprise of a lifetime when the cast of “Glee” appeared alongside them on the “Tyra Show” stage. Check out their reaction and watch the rest of the episode Friday at 4pm on the CW.
AOL has three new interview videos with the cast of Glee! The first one is through AOL Music’s website, PopEater.com. In it, the Glee cast talk about their personal music preferences, musical idols and more. (There are two more videos after the jump.)
We’ll give you some hints: someone’s a huge Britney Spears fan, there’s a love for Beyonce, Michael Jackson was a cast member’s childhood alias and one cast member cites Bob Dylan as a recent favorite. If that’s not enough, you’ll definitely want to know whose favorite concert was metal act Pantera, of which it was described to us as “Satan’s gift to earth.”
The Glee kids are making the rounds and promoting their new soundtrack going on sale! They’re stopping by the NY and LA Fox stations and a lot of great talk shows in the NYC and LA areas. This is where I’ll be collecting videos of their publicity tour before and after all the CD signings. Enjoy!
Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale were on Good Day NY this morning to talk about the new soundtrack and the NYC signings! They talked about their favorite songs, what it was like singing at the World Series, and even showed a sneak peak clip of Kevin singing “Dancing with Myself”. Warning: Relationship spoiler ;)

The cast went on “It’s On With Alexa Chung” on November 3, 2009. They played musical chairs (with a twist) and talked about the upcoming Madonna episode.

Jenna Ushkowitz and Mark Salling stopped by the set of Good Day LA!

Tim Stacks from EW.com’s PopWatch talked to the cast at their NYC signing, as well as some of the fans! FYI, Tim Stacks wrote this EW cover article about Glee, so he knows his stuff. ;)

Glee’s’ Amber Riley Has a ‘Crazy Fan’ -- ABC News
- Does Amber Riley have a stalker? That depends. Do you consider finding all her real life friends on Twitter, using that to find their other social networks and then trying to get them to get in contact with her for you a bit crazy? Creeper alert!
MTV: The Cast Of ‘Glee’ Are Totally Not Jerks
- Breaking news: The Glee cast members are actually nice! Shocking, I know. ;) From my personal experience, they have all been incredibly kind and they really do love their fans. (Except the creepy stalker ones…)
Lea Michele will be on the Rachael Ray Show tomorrow, October 21st. Thanks to the magic of prerecorded daytime television, here are some quotes and an image from Lea’s appearance on the show!
Lea on who she wants to do a duet with:
“I really love Adam Lambert, and I would really love to sing with him because I think he is awesome…I’m kind of obsessed with him, I follow him on Twitter.”
Lea on being followed by the paparazzi:
“They don’t really follow me actually. We’re dorks, we’ll always be dorks…except for when we’re in groups of two. When I go out with Cory Monteith I find that they recognize us the most because they just see this insanely tall guy with this really short girl, and they’re like who are these people. I think it’s because we’re not the kind of kids to really go out.”
Teen Vogue has as an article about Lea Michele and her character on Glee, Rachel Berry. You can check it out on their website or read it in their November issue.
Rachel Berry, the teenaged would-be drama queen at the center of Fox’s song-and-dance series Glee, would pretty much kill to be Lea Michele, the actress who plays her. After all, Lea made her Broadway debut at eight, stepping in as young Cosette in Les Misérables after an open call. “I’d never sung before,” the New York City native says. “My friend was auditioning, and I was like, ‘I want to go too!’ I just took to it.”
She appeared in Ragtime and Fiddler on the Roof and won the starring role in Spring Awakening at fourteen, sticking with the show for almost eight years as it went from early workshops to the Great White Way. (Nothing’s set in stone, but she “really, really wants” to appear in the forthcoming feature film version.) Now 23, she lives in L.A. with Glee costar Dianna Agron (who plays on-screen rival Quinn) and a pair of cats named for two characters in Hair. Meanwhile Ms. Berry, though talented, is still striving (and stuck in Ohio).
