Several Glee cast members have posed for photographs by Adam Bouska as part of the NOH8 Campaign – a photographic silent protest for the repeal of Proposition 8. Melody from the Glee podcast GleekSquad will be interviewing one of the organization’s founders, so be on the lookout for that. We’ll keep you updated.
This March’s issue of ELLE Magazine will feature a glammed-up Glee cast, made over by the magazine’s Creative Director, Joe Zee! Check out this excerpt from the Access Hollywood article:
“Glee’s” resident starlet Lea Michele (Rachel Berry) was voted “Most Likely To Stick With The Bare Necessities,” and sports a sexy and skimpy nude-colored ensemble paired with nude heels in the spread.
Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) – “Glee’s” heartthrob – nabs the “Most Likely To Succeed Without Really Trying” honor and is styled as “chic rebellion” with a mix of preppy gear and a leather biker jacket.

As you probably already know, cast members of Glee love to fool around behind the scenes – as demonstrated pretty well by Cory’s twitvids. Check them out. :) Someone around the Paramount Lot happened to witness this tomfoolery and snapped a few candid pics for our enjoyment! :) A few of these are may contain spoilers, so be warned:
Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz used their Flip cams to take us behind the scenes of the Golden Globes! See them get ready, walk the red carpet and hang out at the Glee table! Thanks to E!Online for the videos!
Jenna Ushkowitz was on the Today Show with Kathie Lee & Hoda to talk about Sanrio’s donation of $100,000 worth of Hello Kitty toys to Today’s Toy Drive 2009. It’s a pretty short video, but Jenna is so cute with her little Hello Kitty doll. Enjoy! :)
Glee starlet Jenna Ushkowitz recently sat down for an exclusive interview with Topher on GOOM Radio. Heres what the 23-year-old Long Island native had to share
Goom is a new platform for online digital radio. Listen to premium entertainment and create your own radio to share with listeners across the web. http://www.goomradio.com
Fox Broadcasting just released some videos about the casting of Glee on their YouTube channel. They really had their work cut out for them trying to find these triple threats. The 1st video is about the casting in general, while the videos after the break are about casting for the characters of “Rachel”, “Finn”, “Will”, “Artie”, “Kurt”, “Quinn” and “Tina”. Enjoy!
Lea Michele, Mark Salling, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Chris Colfer stopped by the Yahoo! studio to talk about “Glee’s impact on music, television, and kids today.”
Also check out this Yahoo! Music article about the possibility of Adam Lambert being on Glee, complete with a video outtake of Mark and Lea from the interview.
Jenna Ushkowitz was interviewed by the NY Post’s PopWrap about Tina’s stutter, what happens in “Ballads” and more! Make sure that you read the whole interview to hear what Jenna thinks about Tina’s stutter being fake and what we can expect for the rest of the season.
PW: Does Tina get any more solos?
Jenna: “True Colors” is Tina’s — and I haven’t heard the extended version that will be on the CD, just the TV cut, so I’m actually really excited to hear that too.
PW: Have you given any thought to what you’d like Tina to sing in next year’s Madonna-only episode?
Jenna: Oh, there are a lot. I would love to do “Frozen” since it goes along with dark Tina. I’d like to see Kurt do “Material Girl!” Or maybe “Ray of Light,” “Open Your Heart,” “Like A Virgin” — they’re all classics. But our writers will do it right, I have faith!
PW: What else would you like to see in the second half of season one?
Jenna: I would love to see where Tina comes from because I’ve created my own backstory where she’s rebelling against her mother more than anything. I don’t think her room is filled with dark posters and heavy metal stuff — I just think this is a phase she’s going through. There’s definitely a lot of options for all the characters to evolve and change next year. I’m totally rooting for Tina to join The Cheerios or something crazy like that!
PW: Oh god, that would be amazing!
Jenna: It would be hilarious to see her with that high ponytail — but I have to keep the blue hair! I love my blue hair!
The cast of Glee was on the Tyra Show today! They met a few of their fans who are choir/theater kids in real life. They also played a game called “Glee-crets” where they tried to guess each other’s secrets and there was a glee-off between two real high school glee clubs!
A few real life high school “gleeks” got the surprise of a lifetime when the cast of “Glee” appeared alongside them on the “Tyra Show” stage. Check out their reaction and watch the rest of the episode Friday at 4pm on the CW.
Here is a collection of music related interviews with Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale from SPIN.com.
WATCH:
We invited four Glee cast members — Dianna Agron (Quinn), Mark Salling (Puck), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), and Kevin McHale (Artie) — to stop by SPIN’s NYC office, take us inside the fictional McKinley High School, and talk about the show’s best moments, the songs they’d love to see “Glee-ified,” their own musical loves, Neil Diamond’s Twitter habits, and much more.
Interview by Peter Gaston / Video by Eric Nowels & Matt Kiser
Make sure you visit the page on Spin.com to see more info about the cast like their favorite artists, their first concerts and the first albums they’d ever purchased. Check it out! :)
AOL has three new interview videos with the cast of Glee! The first one is through AOL Music’s website, PopEater.com. In it, the Glee cast talk about their personal music preferences, musical idols and more. (There are two more videos after the jump.)
We’ll give you some hints: someone’s a huge Britney Spears fan, there’s a love for Beyonce, Michael Jackson was a cast member’s childhood alias and one cast member cites Bob Dylan as a recent favorite. If that’s not enough, you’ll definitely want to know whose favorite concert was metal act Pantera, of which it was described to us as “Satan’s gift to earth.”
On Monday, November 9th, Fox held an advance screening of this week’s episode of Glee, “Wheels“. Our LA rep, Shelly (@GleekShelly) got tickets to the event and wrote up her full report! Producers Dante Di Loretto, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan were there to introduce the episode, as were castmates Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Kevin McHale (Artie)!
At the end of the report, there is a slight spoiler about a very special guest star, but I promise you that you will not be disappointed if you read it. :) Enjoy!
I apologize in advance for the picture quality – I had an epic camera failure and had to resort to using my iPhone. :(
When I arrived at the ArcLight at 6:30, there were about 20-25 people already in line.
They started handing out tickets and wristbands at 7:30 and let the line in at 8.
If you follow me on Twitter (@GleekRob), then you would know that we now have a LA rep for GleeFan.com! I have known Shelly for a while now through our sister site, GleeForum.com, and she is awesome! She lives in the LA area and has had the chance to go to multiple Glee events, including the screening of the second episode and Q&A at Outfest 2009 and the taping of episode 13, “Sectionals”. If you have a Twitter account, make sure to follow her! (@GleekShelly)
Here is her report of her most recent adventure at the Glee soundtrack signing at The Grove in LA. The rest of the report is after the jump. Enjoy! :)
I arrived at The Grove at around 3 pm, and was told to line up down the block from Barnes and Noble and Banana Republic. There was already a massive line down the side of the store and around the corner – the first group in line had gotten there at around 11 am.
