On August 4, 2010 at 11am, Jane Lynch will be launching her infamous character on the Madame Tussauds Hollywood courtyard! With a performance by the John Burroughs High School Power House Choir (as seen on Oprah) and other surprises, you won’t want to miss out on the GLEE!

When I was in NYC to see the Glee concert, my family went to the Madame Tussauds there, and it was a ton of fun! Tonight, on July 19th, Jane Lynch will be hosting the Do Something Awards live on VH1 at 9/8c pm. Glee was nominated for their work with the Grammy Foundation and Grammy In The Schools. Also, there will be a ton of celebrities, including musical performances, so make sure to tune in! VH1 has some promo videos featuring Jane Lynch, and they’re hilarious. Check them out below!

The Emmy’s air on August 29, which also happens to be Lea Michele’s birthday! How awesome would it be if she won an Emmy on her birthday?

Everyone’s favorite Sue Sylvester will be making an appearance on Nickelodeon’s teen hit, iCarly! Jane Lynch is said to be taking on the role of Sam (played by Jennette McCurdy)’s mother, who no one’s seen yet but everyone knows exists. Kinda like Rachel’s two dads. When are we seeing them?!

The episode, which films next week, will be a part of iCarly’s third season. Apparently, even Jane’s stepdaughter Haden is pumped for this cameo; she’s such a big iCarly fan that the Nickelodeon show was even referenced in her mom’s wedding vows!

Sue Sylvester may not have yet found true love on Glee but Jane Lynch, most definitely has! Multiple sources have confirmed that Jane has finally wed her longtime girlfriend Lara Embry. Their vows were exchanged at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland, Massachusetts on Monday, May 31st. Massachusetts is one of the 5 states that allow same-sex marriage.

It was a small ceremony with 21 guests who feasted on their choice of duck or sea bass. The cake, a very important part of any wedding, was a 3-tiered vanilla cake with chocolate mousse filling. The infamous Glee star confirmed the pending nuptials back in April.

Our congratulations goes out to Miss Lynch and her new bride!

In this week’s issue of the newly redesigned TV Guide Magazine, the cast of Glee talks Madonna for their episode airing April 20 on FOX. Check out the cover below (click to see HQ quality image) and make sure to watch the behind the scenes video of their photo shoot!

Lea Michele talks about her early memories of attending Madonna’s Drowned World Tour three times and even styled her hair like Miss Ciccone when attending Bat Mitzvahs. On the other hand, Modonna wasn’t too important to Matthew Morrison, who says, “I wasn’t a big fan of Madonna; never got into it… As a heterosexual guy, she didn’t have much impact on my life.”

Chris Colfer and Mark Salling both weren’t allowed to listen to Madonna growing up. Colfer says, “My mother and grandmother had all the CDs but didn’t want me to hear about sex.” Similarly, Mark Salling grew up in a strict Christian home in the South, so “Madonna was considered the she-devil.” Haha! Of course Jane Lynch, being a bit older, has memories of Madonna’s success from an older time. She recalls “sitting at a bar all drunk on Long Island ice teas watching her ‘Material Girl’ video and thinking, ‘How Ballsy.’ ” That sounds like something Sue Sylvester would say!

Outfest, “the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing, showcasing and protecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) media,” is said to be presenting it’s 14th annual Achievement Award to Jane Lynch at the film festival’s opening night July 8 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

Outfest’s highest honor, The Achievement Award is presented in recognition of a body of work that has made a significant contribution to LGBT film and media.

“As an actor, comedien and longtime activist for gay rights issues, Jane has had a profound impact on both mainstream and LGBT audiences,” Outfest exec director Kirsten Schaffer said. “Through her roles in both independent films and blockbuster hits, as well as television, she continually demonstrates her brilliant comedic timing. Jane is funny, fearless and we are proud to honor her this year for her incredible talent, passion and her enduring advocacy for equal rights.”

Last year’s Outfest Achievement Award went to Don Roos and previous recipients include: Jane Anderson, Gregg Araki, Bill Condon, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, Todd Haynes, Sir Ian McKellen and Gus Van Sant.

Lynch most recently received a Golden Globe nomination for herportrayal of Sue Sylvester on “Glee,” and won, along with her fellow cast members, a 2009 Screen Actors Guild award for best ensemble in a comedy. Her film credits include “Julie & Julia,” “Post Grad” and “Paul and Brownie Masters.”

Whew! So much Glee news been going around lately, hasn’t there? Tonight, January 23, 2010, is the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards! You can watch it live on either TNT or TBS. The SAG awards are different from other award shows because the nominees and winners are chosen by committees of SAG members. It’s a high honor for an actor to be chosen by fellow actors.

Glee has been nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, against 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Modern Family and The Office. Also, it’s been reported that Jane Lynch with be one of the SAG award presenters! Best of luck to all the cast!

In association with the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, a “Glee” Cast Autographed Lyric Sheet and “Glee” Cast Autographed Sheet Music are up for auction in the Screen Actors Guild Awards Ceremony Auction on ClothesOffOurBack.org!

There have been some fun interviews with Jane Lynch (who is officially one of my favorite people) on a few different sites, so here’s a roundup with three of them! I’ve included excerpts to help you pick and choose which you’d like to read. Enjoy! :)

TV.com talked with Jane Lynch, saying she is “the Nicest Person Ever”. Aww! Jane answers some questions about what it’s like to play Sue, her upcoming musical number on Glee and potentially branching out from just comedy.

On playing Sue: “I always say when I put on that track suit, I have a license to say anything I want. I think it’s probably very good therapy, because I’m a much nicer person at home. I get it all out at work, and that kind of contemptuousness and heinous behavior is just very shallowly below the surface for me, so it’s kind of nice.”
On Sue’s upcoming musical number: “It’s kind of a dream come true because I love to sing. I got to sing in A Mighty Wind… It’s not as easy as one thinks. You have to be right on pitch-wise and you have to be right on time-wise, and I always thought I was very good at those things, but according to Adam [Anders, Glee's musical producer] I am not. He had to direct me several times.”
