Glee teams up with Members Project to make a difference

Glee has partnered with Members Project to raise awareness about the environment, promote donation to charity, and make a difference! Members Project is an innovative online initiative presented by American Express and TakePart, in which members can become involved in helping the community through volunteering and donating. The campaign will include promotional vignettes online, on-air, and in-cinema, as well as interactive Facebook applications. Three online shorts have been released, featuring the tagline “”Some people want to do good. Some don’t. Which one are you? Second Season of GLEE Premieres Tuesday, September 21, on FOXNew York, September 1, 2010 – Members Project(R) from American Express and TakePart have partnered with FOX’s critically acclaimed, award-winning hit series GLEE on a new, first-of-its-kind campaign that provides fans with a passion for giving back an opportunity to take small steps to make a big difference – all with the lighthearted and inspirational voice for which GLEE is known.
Kicking off today, Wednesday, Sept. 1, the collaboration will feature an innovative mix of original television, online and cinema content written, directed and produced by the GLEE creative team and featuring everyone’s favorite GLEE characters. The long awaited casting decision for Kurt’s boyfriend, Sam, has finally been revealed. The character which has, in the past, been described as Kurt’s potential boyfriend will be played by Chord Overstreet, who is still fairly new on the acting scene. He’s had a couple guest starring roles in shows such as iCarly and the upcoming No Ordinary Family, but Sam should be his biggest role to date. It’s been announced that he will appear in the season-premiere, and Glee co-producer Dante Di Loreto has
